Joel Gion - Poster by Galine MoDemoiselle

What’s New With Joel Gion?

"My upcoming solo album is completely tracked and is being mixed at The Committee To Keep Music Evil Headquarters. The record was recorded at both The Committee Studios in Los Angeles and Revolver Studios in Portland Oregon. My BJM Brothers Collin Hegna, Robert Campanella, Dan Allaire and Matt Hollywood play on most of the tracks with other guest appearances by Miranda Lee Richards, Jeff Davies, Peter Holmstrom (Dandy Warhols), Ryan Van Kreidt (Asteroid 4/Dead Skeletons), Plucky (Spindrift, Warlocks), Maria Karlin (Federale), Christof Certik (The new Kaleidoscope line up) and more."

"I’m also rehearsing a new 7-piece live band and plan to tour coinciding with the album release in early 2014. If your going to be in San Francisco on October 18th I’ll be playing DJ for the great band Crystal Stilts at The Chapel."

There are about 10 copies remaining of the 2011 “Extended Play” home demo recordings available at The Committee Webstore. Limited edition vinyl 500 only.

The Brian Jonestown Massacre tour Australia this December!

Keep the faith, baby
