TIME IS LOVE.7 Opens at The Invisible Line Gallery, London 18th January 2014

London’s The Invisible Line Gallery www.tilgallery.com will present
“TIME IS LOVE.7,” founded and curated by Kisito Assangni www.timeisloveshow.org this coming Saturday 18 January 2014. 7 p.m.

Assangni is an internationally known Togolese-French curator and producer, whose practice primarily focuses on psychogeography and post-globalisation’s impact on contemporary African cultures.

Founded in 2008, “TIME IS LOVE” is a roving international video art programme, which explores the theme of love in hard times and the complexities of human relationships. The exhibit features, amongst other international artists from the USA, UK, France, Germany, South Korea,  and Slovenia, a video installation from UK artist & friend, William Esdale www.williamesdale.com

The videos tackle such subjects as memory and spirituality, prevented communications, and globalization. The project’s mission statement is to “support and promote the new movements and trends in contemporary culture. It is an opportunity for audiences to engage with video works by gaining greater understanding and enjoyment.”

“At the centre of my art practice I investigate theories concerning the human condition and question art-making which provokes and intermediates between visceral emotion and identity.” - William Esdale
