ALL THAT GLITTERS - A WINTER EXHIBITION 2017

Thank you to my collectors & galleries for another great year!  Special thanks to the beautiful A Gallery in
El Paseo for an incredible day, and what I'm sure will be a very successful exhibit!  Whether you're a snow bird, fortunate enough to call it home, or just travelling through Palm Desert, California, be sure to stop by the gallery and check out the new collection.

For now, I'm retreating back to the drawing board - I've been commissioned to design a double album cover for Australia's Paper Kites, which I'm really excited about.   Having a blast working with Sam Bentley & co.

I'm ending 2017 with an exclusive interview with iconic artist/photographer/film director, Matt Mahurin.  With a roster of clients that include U2, REM, Muse, Tom Waits,  Rolling Stone Magazine and too many others to list here - I can't wait to share this one!

Wishing everyone Happy Holidays.  Thank you all for your support.  Please continue to support ALL of the arts - it's never been  more crucial.

The object isn't to make art,

it's to be in that wonderful state

American-Noir Originals Now At A Gallery Fine Art - Palm Desert, CA

Located in the Coachella Valley of Southern California is the beautiful resort city of Palm Desert, and within this city stretches a 1.7-mile corridor known as the 'Rodeo Drive of the Desert,' - “El Paseo.” Flanked by the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto mountains, the sunsets there are nothing short of breathtaking, never mind the exquisite shopping destinations that include Escada, Gucci and Bottega Veneta boutiques, making the area a favourite amongst international tourists as well as locals. No matter how far away I travel, there’s just something about this location that always seems to call me back.

For this reason, I am really pleased to announce I have just signed exclusive Palm Desert representation with one of El Paseo’s most well-established contemporary art galleries, “A Gallery Fine Art."

Located at 73-956 El Paseo, next door to Maison Felice, A Gallery Fine Art is one of only a handful of specifically contemporary-focused galleries in the desert cities. For over two decades, gallery directors Lisa Dempton and Claire Joles have exhibited national as well as international contemporary masters including figurative painter, Hessam Abrishami, Argentinian metaclassical still-life artist, Roberto Azank and Venetian Murano glassmaker, Afro Celotto, amongst many others.

The gallery currently has four of my originals, including one of my latest pieces, “I Reserve The Right To Disappear,” and will also be home to several upcoming exciting theatre and desert-noir themed creations currently in progress and scheduled to coincide with the opening of The Palm Springs International Film Festival this coming January.

As I sell originals only through my authorized galleries and not off my website, if you find yourself near this enchanting city, please stop by, check out my newest work or ask about private commissions, and be sure to notice the many other uniquely beautiful collections of fine art represented by A Gallery. This season’s First Friday Art Walk starts in November and runs through May 2016. See you there!

A Gallery Fine Art on El Paseo

An El Paseo Art Destination for Two Decades

Contemporary art thrives at A Gallery Fine Art in the desert’s gallery district on El Paseo in Palm Desert. The gallery represents a sterling collection of painting, sculpture, glass, functional art furniture, and jewelry by emerging, midcareer, and established artists.

“Our artists are highly celebrated and extremely successful,” says Lisa Dempton, gallery director. “We’re pleased to play a part in their accomplishments.”

No detail has been overlooked in the execution of the 2,500-square-foot gallery space. The vibrancy of glass sculpture, the fluid expressions of bronze, and the diversity of the paintings are showcased with an expertise that derives from two decades serving the desert area.

“When art is acquired under the guidance of a trusted expert, it can be a fine investment,” says Dempton. “Under the best circumstances, it will appreciate over time. But, most importantly, good art will enhance one’s aesthetic experience.” - Palm Springs Life Magazine -
